This scholarship is intended for a Black student from Rhode Island who will graduate from a Rhode Island high school in 2025. Eligibility requires the student to have at least a 2.75 Grade Point Average (GPA) or the equivalent. A final transcript will be required to be submitted.
Applicants are required to fill out this application in full. The scholarship is merit-based and not based on financial need. The scholarship is renewable each year, if the recipient maintains the minimum requirements. The scholarship award will be for $2,500 per year for assisting the recipient to work toward a degree from an accredited two-year or four-year college or university.
